What types of cases are heard at Domestic & Juvenile courts?
The mission of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas division of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Branch is to provide judicial, program and juvenile detention services to children, parents, families and the community, so they can receive fair and equitable treatment under the law.
In the Juvenile Division, cases heard include delinquencies, traffic violations of minors, motions for permanent custody, changes of custody or visitation, support enforcement modification and parentage issues.
In the Domestic Division, cases include divorces, dissolutions, changes of custody, visitation enforcements, support enforcements and domestic violence.
