Boardroom named for Porter

William G. Porter II recently was honored for his years of service as chairman of the board of the Central Ohio Transit Authority with the dedication of a new boardroom in his honor.

The room, called the William G. Porter II Boardroom, is located in COTA's new downtown office building. It will be used for board of trustees meetings as well as public meetings.

Porter, a partner in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP and chair of the litigation group, served as chairman of the COTA board from 2002 through 2009.
