Miles-McClellan creates, fills new position

Dee Jones, a 17-year veteran of Miles-McClellan Construction Co., will fill a newly created position at the general contracting and construction management firm.

As subcontractor relationship manager, Jones will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors. Specific duties include managing all subcontractor payment applications to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness; tracking the review and approval chain through the architect and owner; keeping subcontractors informed of the status of their funds; and delivering payments promptly to the subcontractors.

Jones has 28 years of experience in the construction industry and has held positions in project administration, accounting, marketing and business development.
